Stop Badgering

The Government have plans to cull badgers to stop them spreading diseases such as tuberculosis in cattle. An association called ‘Coalition of Badger Action Groups’ (CBAG) have publicised the addresses and telephone numbers of the farmers involved in the organisation of a trial cull. This is due to begin in the West Country this Autumn. Followers of the group have now been contacting the farmers to “let them know” their views. CBAG claim they do not intend for these farmers to get harassed. Some of the farmers say they have been “frightened and intimidated”. CBAG claim they will be out on night patrols with torches and megaphones, attempting to scare the badgers away during the cull trials. HS&CO have acted throughout England for defendants on animal cruelty cases and for members of protest movements. In Your Defence.
