Takeaway Ends in Death

A man was killed at a Chicken Express takeaway in Blackpool after a row over cheesy chips. Ricky Guest-Binns, a Chef at the Chicken Express, was trying to usher out a drunken customer who was complaining the cheese was not melted properly before he was punched by the customer. Mr Guest-Binns fell backwards and there were no signs of life when paramedics arrived. Tests gave the cause of death as a haemorrhage caused by a blow to the head. Allan Glenny admitted having drunk "quite a lot of lager" and spirits and having taken cocaine. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years and four months for manslaughter and two months for a separate assault which happened shortly after the initial attack inside the takeaway. The case was at Preston Crown Court, where we have had serious cases. HS&Co are experts at defending murder and manslaughter cases. In Your Defence.
