Grayling Law

The law might well be changed on attacking burglars. The intention is that if a householder attacks an intruder, he will not be prosecuted if he used force that is not disproportionate. Does this really deviate from the current ‘Reasonable force in all the circumstances?’ Sounds like it’s Party Conference time! And of course there is the trauma of the arrest, detention and interrogation procedures.
